Goatee is our male goat. He is 18 months old.
Ginger is our female goat. She is old enough for us to breed her now. Duchess is on Kristen's back.
Dutchess is one of our Amazonian parrots. She is about a year old and she loves to talk, sing and whistle.
We started with 2 males and 2 females. We know have about 10 turkeys.
Mark, Jr. participates in a neighborhood soccer league. He enjoys playing soccer with other young boys his age. Mark has participated in the league for over a year now, and he anticipates pratices and games with much excitement.

We have 3 female pigs. Our female pigs are for the purpose of breeding.
In August of this year, Mark and Mark Jr. built pig stalls for our mother pigs.
We have several parrots; Duchess is a green parrot native to South America. Duchess is about 6 months old. She is highly intelligent and can already say several words.
Along with their regular diet of pig food, we feed the pigs fruits, vegetables and greens from the yard. They love greens! Kristen enjoys hand feeding the pigs.
The corn is ground and used for animal feed. This is not sweet corn, however many Venezuelans eat field corn as well.
We have a large variety of fruit that we grow at the finca. Here is a partial list. Bananas, limes, grapefruit, juice oranges, mandarin oranges, pears, papaya, coconut, mangos, and avocados.
Yucca is grown year round. This is a staple food in Venezuela. Yucca is a starch similar to the potato. Just like the potato, yucca can be boiled, fried, mashed, baked etc.
